Where
The courses take place in a variety of city centre and countryside hotels within a few hours driving distance from Reykjavik and are all chosen for their inspirational settings, luxurious accommodation, friendly service and gourmet restaurants.

Individual attention
Group Life-Navigation sessions, in which each person learns about the tools of Life-Navigation alongside others, are held indoors as well as outdoors. In addition, each member enjoys one formal individual session with the navigator for an hour. The navigator is available throughout your stay to act as a sounding board to your thoughts. Confidentiality is assured.

Holidaying in Iceland
Outdoor activities vary depending on the weather, the season and each individual’s stamina. There may be opportunities like a night trek, during which you experience the midnight sun, a mystical luminosity highlighting the shape of the mountains, the northern lights, the stillness and the overwhelming silence.

EXAMPLE ITINERARY (depending on season and weather)
LIFE-NAVIGATION (8 DAYS)
Day 1:

Arrive in Iceland – new experience
You are picked up at the airport at the time of your arrival and driven to the country hotel across Iceland’s striking landscape: moonlike terrain, glaciers, ocean, violet mountains and green hills. After settling in, you meet your fellow participants and the navigator. In the evening there is dinner and an introduction to the programme and what to expect in the forthcoming week.
Day 2:

Inspiring Iceland
The day begins with a light refreshment, then yoga and meditation. Thereafter starts your inner journey and your first Life-Navigation session. After lunch at the hotel there is the opportunity to go horse riding in the mountains or whale watching in the deep blue Faxafloi bay. End the day with relaxation and an introductory one-on-one session (the main session will come later in the week). After dinner is kvöldvaka.
Day 3:

Reflective Iceland
After breakfast and a morning workshop you will meet with the navigator for your one-to-one session, in which you map your navigational chart. As you wait for your session, you can take a walk or also explore the hotel’s facilities and reflect upon what you’ve experienced thus far. If you are an ardent sportsperson we can arrange activities such as fly fishing, golf or horse riding in the area. The afternoon will be rounded up with meditation in hot tubs (weather permitting). Finish off the day with kvöldvaka.
Day 4:

Breathtaking Iceland
After yoga and breakfast you go on a tour with a driver guide in the Icelandic nature. You drive from Hvalfjordur through the mountains to Thingvellir, where the first known parliament was established. From there you drive through Krýsuvík and visit the Blue Lagoon to experience the delightfully warm, healing mineral water. At the end of the day return to the hotel for relaxation time. Round up the day with kvöldvaka.
Day 5:

Reflective Iceland
After breakfast and the morning workshop you will meet with the navigator for your one-to-one session, in which you map your navigational chart.
Day 6:

Exhilarating Iceland
After yoga and breakfast you go on a tour with a driver guide through Hvalfjordur and Borgafjördur and visit Reykholt, home to Snorri Sturluson, the author of the Icelandic Sagas. After lunch continue to the Langjökull glacier. On return to the hotel there will be a Life-Navigation session followed by meditation in the hot tubs. After dinner there is kvöldvaka.
Day 7:

Reflective Iceland
Today’s Life-Navigation session focuses on how to apply all you’ve learned during the programme to your daily life and how to continue your inner journey. After lunch you leave the country hotel and visit a famous Icelandic glass artist. Then you retire to an elegant hotel in Reykjavík, where you can indulge in visiting some of the city’s finest museums and attractions. In the evening there is a farewell dinner and then a night out.
Day 8:

Leaving Iceland
The morning will be for one-to-one session and leisure time. Check out is at noon when you will be picked up by fly-bus and transferred to the airport.
